My story is probably a lot like yours.
I built my career inside a world that expected women to lead as though we weren’t also managing households, raising babies, carrying invisible responsibilities, and internalising impossible expectations.
For years I tried to be the calm leader, the strategic thinker, the present mum, the ambitious woman - all without dropping a ball. But even with a marketing degree, a psychology qualification, a decade of leadership experience and a coaching certification, I found myself thinking:
“Why does leadership still feel this hard?”
“Why is everything designed for people who have 40 hours a week to invest? And why does it have to be between 9 and 5?”
“Why is the advice so full of fluff?”
“Why does no one talk about the mental load?”
I was exhausted, overstretched, and overthinking everything. Not because I wasn’t capable, but because the system wasn’t built for women like us.
The turning point came when I realised something important:
I thought I needed more information, but what I really need is support and resources that honour my humanity.
Women need tools that help us feel confident, not rushed.
We need clarity that helps us take action without stressing.
We need spaces where our self-discovery matters as much as our skill development.
We need careers that grow with us, not at the cost of us.

What I learned (and now teach): career and leadership become easier when they feel aligned with who you are.
The traditional approach to career and leadership development is masculine, linear, and built around endless hours of training and “grind through it” energy. It doesn’t work for women with full lives. Your development becomes clearer, calmer, and more powerful when:
